Genetic improvement in livestock is dependent on highly trained individuals. NAAB is dedicated to helping you leave a legacy in the shape of developing the talent that will keep our essential industry going for the benefit of the global population.
We believe that genetic improvement in livestock is essential to global food security.
Development of talented specialists to continue the legacy of the industry founders.
To provide a steady annual supply of elite professionals that will lead the industry in a changing future.
There are two ways to give through the NAAB Talent Development Foundation. You can support students with an endowed gift that will grow until there are sufficient funds to cover a Fellowship, providing permanent support, or you can make a non-endowed “pass-through” gift to be used more immediately towards a student.
*Fund Name: NAAB Talent Development Fund
Genetic improvement and the business of artificial insemination to disseminate high quality genetics relies heavily on talented and passionate individuals that are often highly educated. Yet, our industry is dealing with a supply issue. More people are retiring than are joining our industry.
This is happening in a time where bright new talent is more important than ever. The global population is growing and will need to be fed with less resources. The sustainable production of animal protein will become essential and genetics play a large role in achieving this goal.
To keep our industry feeding the world like it has done for decades will require more students to be trained and placed in various positions within AI organizations as well as scientific institutions and Government.
This Foundation is developed to offer you the possibility to leave a legacy by supporting a talented student to pursue a career in the industry that we are all passionate about, for the benefit of everyone in a changing and challenging world.
Do you have any questions about the Foundation and ways to contribute? Feel free to reach out for more information. The NAAB team is excited to get in contact with you.
